HYROX Hamburg Pilot🇩🇪

The first ever HYROX race took place right here in Hamburg in November 2017 — a pilot event a full year before Season 1 officially launched.

HYROX was co-founded by event organiser Christian Toetzke and Olympic field-hockey gold medallist Moritz Fürste.

The 2017 Hamburg pilot set the format still raced today: 8 runs, 8 stations, one finish line.

Hamburg is HYROX's hometown — the sport was invented and first staged in Germany before going global.
